This may well be intentional, allthought the Blue color is not common. I have a Fluorescent tube socket that glows but in Green, and that definitely was not intentional

I noticed that most such glowing Plastics have some sorta translucent appearance with fine grainy appearance under the surface. That is probably the Zinc Sulfide or some other glow material mixed into the Plastic in powdered form, and staying like that since it is not dissolved by the Plastic
