Nice.
I've gotten various shoplights free over the years.

Colored Fluorescent's such as F40T12 Red or  Green or Blue are awesome...

Awesome score! My coworkers save me stuff all the time too. A lot of times it's just junk stuff but I just politely take it all and get rid of what I won't want. Otherwise they might not save something I actually DO want, since to them a light is a light. It's a nice feeling when something thinks of you when they see a street light on the side of the road or they remove an old fixture.

@ Fluorescent lover 40: Wow even homeowners there are changing their fluorescent lights to LED? Most homes here that have fluorescent lights are still T12. I rarely see T8s in homes and even less common are T5s. I'm actually surprised how many homeowners don't realize there are T12s and T8s. No one in my family knew there was anything but T12 before I came along lol (except my grandpa, who had a T17 light over his desk in the basement).

I think some of these ballasts are going bad as the turret is much brighter than the others . He still has more of these that I can have as he gets them down, not sure what I'll do with all of them yet . Definitely keeping the turret may convert it to VHO someday.

The guy I got these from doesn't like the cold performance of these and is trying to save on his electric bill !

Full wattage 110w lamps work way better in the cold but hey whatever. You got them! Yeah the turrets are keepers but the rest I'd just keep the ballast.

When I saw these in action only the turret seemed bright, it's got a different model # ballast than the strip lights I'll play with them when I get a chance .
