Parking Lot Lit By Fluorescent

Parking Lot Lit By Fluorescent

Click to view full size image

This small parking lot in Newark, Ohio is lit entirely with fluorescent !
I don't know what brand they are. I'm assuming they are 6'. Each fixture has 4 lamps. Hopefully I'll get a chance to check them out in the day time. They appear to be well maintained with only one fixture having a pair of lamps out. There is a total of 6 fixtures ,the other pole was behind me.
This is the first time I'd ever seen fluorescent parking lot lighting in person ! NICE!!!!

Ever seen a car dealership lit by those T5HO lights? They are really nice at night. Almost no glare and really good CRI. Much nicer than any other light source.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

There is a dealership north of Columbus that has what I believe are T5 lights but I haven't seen it at night . Unlike MH, the color won't vary from lamp to lamp (unless someone uses different color temp lamps!)

I found them on Google Maps! They are massive! Too big for the standards they are mounted on!

Streetlights are most often overlooked by society as we go about in life. I have had an interest and fascination for them since I was very little. I love drawing detailed city-scapes and the streetlights are my signature. They always play an important role in my drawings. Like Bob Ross' clouds.

Nice work detective Columbo ! I turned around in this lot while lost at 10:00 at night. Newark is about an hour from my house, I was there for a concert and a old theatre in Newark. I had an Idea where they were but no actual address. Again, NICE DETECTIVE WORK !

That "V" shaped parking-lot pattern is very rare in Newark. It didn't take very long!

Yes! Those light posts are so elaborate as well. They put so much pride in building beautiful well made streetlights in those days unlike now.
