Lamp with an odd filament arrangement

Lamp with an odd filament arrangement

I thought this lamp was odd due to having the filament come directly over the stem (keep in mind this is a European 230v lamp as well). The lamp appears to have been made by Cegasa (a Spanish company) as the remains of the etch are just about visible but very hard to see.

These filament nomenclature I used is from http://www.lamptech.co.uk/Documents/IN%20Filament%20Nomenclature.htm

I'm not sure if the European filament nomenclature would apply here

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

Yes, it is rare for the filament to go straight up and over, normally it is canted to one side at least a bit in the G45's.

Cegasa still seem to exist but now they seem to be into Lithium Battery technology these days.

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!
