I like them too. The city of Ottawa is replacing all old street lights including the old gumballs with "more efficient" LED fixtures but they are trying not to replace decorative ones but they made some mistakes. Why can't they just use LED retrofitting or anything close to good?

Common HPS fixture in many cities. slowly being phased out.

Yeah they were probably one of the most dominant fixtures in my city until recenet years. R47, R37, OVX before the Cree LED changeout
