Click to view full size image

A pilot project for LED street lights in Ottawa was going to happen in 2011 by replacing all of the street lights on Colonel By Drive & Daly Avenue with the Phillips (Signify) Lumec RoadStar GPLM-G2s using some diagonal arm poles and some decorative poles but the project did not go well and only 3 were installed on Daly Avenue and 8 were installed on Colonel By Drive. Another pilot project happened 4 years later in 2013 but on Carling Avenue and Churchill Avenue North with Cree XSP2s and Cree LEDWays.
