Interesting ribbed pattern. I have several of the RAB yardblaster shields, which do the same thing, but are all smooth inside. They also lack the NEMA style open top.

Yea its pretty cool lit up the bottom ring of th reflector accualy glows, it looks like a ring of fire.

This looks like a bell type highbay on an arm.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.

The pattern makes sense - If it would be smooth wouldnt it reflect the light back to the arctube and ovreheat it ? At what angle is that area to the arctube ?
