Markstone 3-lamp Fluorescent Fixture

Markstone 3-lamp Fluorescent Fixture

Click to view full size image

This is a unique Markstone 3-lamp fluorescent fixture. Designed similar to their 2-lamp fixtures, its slightly wider and has a channel down the center to create space for the 3rd lamp. It's in great shape, complete with brand stamp under the center lamp. It came with modern Sylvania Designer Cool White tubes, but the starters appear original.

the ge 3 lamp ballast must have an autoformer in it.
f17t8 work fine and very bright.
i have one in my bedroom over 30 years now.
the Philips 950 tubes are brighter in it than on good electronic ballasts.
and that 40's ballast barely gets warm.
