Harmony House 2-lamp Lit Up

Harmony House 2-lamp Lit Up

Plugged in and fired up with a pair of Sylvania Designer Cool White lamps. One side has a nice quiet ballast and a Certified starter with a hardware store price sticker on it. The other side had a ballast that buzzed loudly with visible heat damage, and a stuck, original looking Sylvania starter. I suspect the stuck starter overheated the ballast.

did you keep te loud ballast? I would guess now that you've put in a new starter it won't overheat again.

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

Very nice fixture!!! Harmony House (a former Sears brand) light fixtures were made by Moe Light of Fort Atkinson, WI back in this era.

Preheat and T-12 fluorescents forever! Down with LED's and instant start T-8 fluorescents.
