Every city have them. A black spot. A certain area where streetlights are very often damaged by vandalism. Despite the mount of broken lanterns they still put the same kind of streetlights there.

Yep, you see it also often at local small squares with youth hanging around where streetlights are often vandalised. They repair the lantern but sometimes within a week it is vandalised again

and who pays for that?

It's so simpel place a post that's higher and a lantern that's stronger.

Yep but even than they can vandalised it. In Vlaardingen at a skate ground there had vandalised the lanterns on 9 meter tall posts. Now they have put grills around the lanterns to avoid that.

I guess, then again if you are vandalizing the light to begin with you likely don't care about that.

LOL, I remember I think it was after New Year's eve, the next morning I went to the park and found the entire row of post top globes smashed beyond recognition by rocks.

I came along one of there myself. its strange how clean they removed the bowl of a industria 2000 without damaging the rest. .. it's almost inpossible to break a industria 2000 with a rock, becouse the new plastic will bend and the rock will just go to your head twice as hard as your throw it

It wonders also me how they do it. The latest generation bowls are very tough. May be somebody have sit on top on it.
