Still quite modern fixture for 36W PL-L lamp (there are also MV, HPS, MH versions and a LED derivative), still particular one has a magnetic ballast and a classic starter.

A nice looking fixture.

Nice fixture! I am beginning to like the higher wattage non-integrated (Separate ballast required) "compact" fluorescent lamps

This fixture definitely does its job very well and the light from PL-L lamp is quite pleasant. By the way this particular one is a 1x36W fixture but there are also 2x36W fixtures.

Cool light! It is neat seeing the visible PL lamp.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Versions for high pressure lamps are very good too, but I can agree that with PL-L lamp it looks the most elegant.
