Philips Halogena 150 Watt Soft White BT15's

Here's a fun eBay find. I bought this set of 4 NOS Philips Halogena's for my collection and general use purposes. I wish I had bought more of these Halogena's back when they were common in most hardware stores. 3000 hours for a 2650 lumen lamp with beautiful halogen light quality, yes please! I'm keeping one of these lamps with its original packaging for my collection, and I'm going to enjoy using the other 3 for beautiful, bright light in my room.

These are excellent quality halogen lamps with corrosion resistant brass bases, wonderful light quality, and long rated lives.

Nice find Camden! Have 75w version myself brand new in package. Was a lucky ReStore find last year. It was $1.50 and was the most I've paid for a single incandescent bulb LOL. All of the incandescent light bulbs in my collection (over 300) I got (and still get) for $1.00 each or under. I also regret not getting the NOS ones I saw years ago. A different ReStore I went too had 20 of these NOS and I never picked one up.

Power provider: Southern California Edison (SCE)

-Date decoder of some US lamps 1960-present.
-Switch and receptacle collector.
-I'll save any vintage lamp! Smiley

These are very nice!!! I bought mine in 1998,
I use mine on a dimmer sometimes at less then half power and they seem to last forever ,

Tip- Put Youres on a dimmer and dim them so low You can use them for a night light 💡!!!

Enjoy 👍💡!!!!

Nice find, Camden. I used to have 150 Watts BT15 bulb, but it was used up by my late father's bedroom night stand light fixture

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.
