My first NEMA!

My first NEMA!

Click to view full size image

I finally got a real NEMA light. This was found by the curb near a friend's house. It appears to have been well cared for because the lamp does not seem to have very much use at all and the photocell included seems to be only a few years old. The bulb it included is a Sylvania Deluxe white 175 watt Mercury that appears to have been made within the past few years. Fixture itself was made on May 15th 1997 and it is Thomas & Betts branded.

Nice find! Can't be free, either.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Looks nice Sam...BTW that bracket looks familiar.

Your mission - should you choose to accept it - is to save unique and rare HID lighting before it's all scrapped.

Yep, that's the one that was on the OV-15. I want to eventually use it for a permanent setup but there's no hole to run wires through inside so they would have to go on the outside.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.
