Did they actually use fluorescent lamps or have they tried any crappy LED retrofits?

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

Real Fluorescent lamps they look like Sylvania Canadian lamps. But i was shocked to see they replaced some of the real bright sox lamps with led when first entering tunnel. The sox was that yellowish iodine color the led is pure cool white. It must of been recent. Most of the sox are eol There are so many I dont think there replace all. I'll try to get a pic next time.

T12/ t17 there's a reason they made heavy magnetic ballasts

SOX/LPS is much harder to source and way more expensive in the US compared to Uk and EU

I will give LEDisease a taste of my shoe

it is here, too, if you get them from a wholesalers, it can be like £1 per watt!
They can be found on eBay for not too much though.

Boston! I knew this looked familiar. There's a vlogger I know on YouTube that had been going through this
tunnel very often in a lot of his videos. I was wondering what these lights were and I always assumed they
were LED since they seemed very glare-full through his camera. Hopefully they keep the SOX and HO lamps up
and don't convert them all to LED.

The blue sun strip on the windscreen makes the first lamp look like a germicidal tube.

Are they replacing EOL SOX lamps with LED? Or are they starting to replace with LED's one by one?
Regardless, that really does suck to hear.
