DURO TEST 1500w E39

Here you can see the engraving of the lamp and its power. It does not mark the voltage although it sure is 120v! Anyway, if someone wants to comment on any data. it is always well received

"sportlite" - interesting mention on the etch. Is that a special model with a borosilicate bulb and/or some other interesting features?

hi Max . Unfortunately, I don't know what use this bulb has. I don't know the brand very well. I bought this bulb because I found it interesting but I have no more information.

With any lamp that you are unsure of the voltage it's best to start off low and work up. We did that with a couple of lamps that we thought were 240V and found out that they were 120V ones.
If we had out them straight across 240V they would have burnt out straight away.

Very strange it doesn't have the voltage marked, not seen that before. We've all seen lamps where the etch has rubbed away, but this looks fine, it just doesn't have the voltage marked, very odd.

wise words mandolin girl! It is very true ! not knowing the voltage it is better to turn it on slowly or in the worst case at 120v. Better to fall short than destroy the lamp.

True, it has no voltage marked anywhere. I have never seen this. They usually always indicate voltage. will it be taken for granted that they are 120v? . If someone can contribute some more wisdom, I would be grateful. anyway thank you friends for commenting! I hope someday we know what it was used for. the approximate year of manufacture and why it does not mark voltage

Ria think that it has an E39 cap, so it's likely that it is 120V
