Is this a photoflood you think? It isn't marked as such. I can provide the etch shot if needed for precise dating. Any idea on age? What is the coating on the glass, anyone care to inform me on the material and its specs? Where were these used, if not photoflood?

Also...Is this an A21 or A23?

Would the etch happen to be wattage, the meatball logo, the voltage underneath and two stars? Don't know the coating. I'm guessing these are used anywhere anyone wants higher CRI from an incandescent. It looks like an A23.

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

Looks like a long neck A21 lamp. I think the blue coating is painted because it looks too dark to be neodymium infused.

That’s an interesting find! I wonder if it’s intended for photography or just for regular household use.

Philips DuraMax and GE Miser forever!  Classic incandescents are the best incandescents! Stop the lamp bans!

Test this with well known 100 watts bulb in series to see which it is brighter

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

Good score! Possibly 50s or 60s when that star variety was more common especially on the colored GE bulbs from that time.

Long live the great old 20th century quality in electrical & lighting products!
