Floodlight repair

Here the setup of our bucket van and the repaired flood lights at a tennis court in the back. I got a call today for the replacement of two failed MH 2000W lamps. Luckily only the bulbs were dead despite the entire installation is quite old from 1976 but still in mint condition.

Nice job. Glad to see they weren't downgraded to disposable fixtures.

Keep government out of the lighting industry.

No such straight-forward repairs for LED lighting.

Cool service truck BTW!

Yes indeed a fast repair by just replacing the bulbs and change the voltage tab on the ballasts from 380 to 390V as our power grid carries now about 400V phase to phase. The capacitors are still good and the entire gear tray looks clean.

This truck is very reliable with its 16 years. A Mercedes Vario D815 with the Ruthmann TK170 Bucket crane.

Yes definitely could be there for that long but the weakest point there is the pole and the bracket which are starting to rust.
