Who knows. I used to deliver liquor to the liquor store there and the door was like that, and that was roughly ten years ago.

Watched AP&L install the first generation on main street right outside my 7th grade classroom. The put up 50 ft creosote poles and 10 ft arms to hang over the street centered. All controlled by a Fisher Pierce socket P/C that was located about 8 ft off the ground near an alley. That one photo control operated a series of relays/contactors throughout the entire town and operated most of the street lights all the way back to the NEMAs installed in 1954.
