Thanks yall! These are NOS so they have never been wired up. Actually very sturdy and well made for a "modern" industrial. I am a little biased ya know!
I have a couple cases of NOS ALTO tubes and some used other tubes.

Also, it's a good thing you grabbed these...you're probably one of the only customers at that store who would really appreciate them. I don't think a lot of people are looking to install T12/HO these days, sadly. Pretty sure Lowe's still sells the lamps but they're something like 6 or 7 bucks EACH.

This would definitely look impressive with a nice new set of lamps! I'd be curious as to how the Philips hold up. When our turret F96T12 fixtures at work used to be VHO (I converted to /HO eventually), the Philips ones never lasted very long. GE and Sylvania did ok. Haven't tried the Philips in /HO, though.

@Don93s, they seem to do well. I had four 4x48 HO industrial fixtures in my company shop before I converted it to 480 and switched the other lights to 277v. They ran for at least two years with Phillips Alto tubes, no problems. I kept the fixtures/tubes and still have them stored in my electrical shed.

Good to see those going to a collector instead of the landfill.

Keep government out of the lighting industry.

Philips F96T12/HOs are horrible! They are quicker than the normal output T12s to go mercury starved!

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

Seems like all HO tubes are junk them. Sylvanias dim down to nothing from phosphor degradation, apparently Philips goes mercury starved, and GE only makes energy saving ones IIRC.

Thank you sir! I am going to actually take down a good F90T17 fixture for you from my pole barn. I am going to rearrange the lights some in there because the damn tubes are so troublesome on the F90T17s and put up some 4x40 preheat lights instead. Hell I may put this light in there too.
