Hmm I always wondered how they cant access the lights to replace them but they can still relamp them. Same thing happened at the grow we wired in New Bedford, MA. Most of Aerovox's lights were t5ho highbays but several "inaccessible" 350w PSMH highbays remained, all with working lamps. Seemingly impossible since the t5ho lights were all over 10 years old. No way a MH lamp would last that long running 12+ hours a day. There were some above a drop ceiling that were disconnected and looked to be NOS! They must've decided to add more office space last second after the highbays were installed. Rather than remove them they just left them installed but not wired.

I don't know, but may they stay for a long time!

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Seems kinda dumb to have those there when the lighting display itself should be putting out plenty of light.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

Interesting, they might have used a bulb changer pole to relamp it if the fixtures use open lamps. They're discontinued now but you used to be able to get HID bulb changer poles.

I always wondered if there were HID lamp changing sticks. Too bad they're discontinued. Perhaps they can still be found online.
