Yes, works fine. Why do you think it looks worn out?
The filament has only supports on one site that's why it might look a bit "wobbly".

I'm looking for Osram L20W/39

it is very interesting in case of failure of one of the 2 filaments the lamps could still work in 500 watts !! osram used this double filament system on these drawn tungsten wire filament bulbs !

No, it can't as they are in series and not in parallel in this lamp!

Beautiful lamps by the way.

I'm sorry but I have this big osram lamp with a power of 1000 watts and it has two filament systems powered in parallel and one of the 500 watt filaments no longer works because 3 pieces of filament fell into the lamp

I guess your lamp is for lower voltage like 110V or 120V?

Well possible that they've used 2 filaments in parallel for the lower voltage version of this lamp, too.

I'm looking for Osram L20W/39

osram stopped the double filament system in 1912 thanks to the new more robust and ductile filament ! osram use the double filament system only on large intensive lamps ! they were very expensive at this time !

Beautiful lamp!!

I love these old lamps. Especially the ones with the logo proudly proclaimed across the face of the lamp! These came from a time when there was actual work put into these bulbs and not just plain factory mass produced products.

One day I'd like to obtain a lamp such as these.
