Old Philips combined fluorescemt fixture and return-air grill thing ad from 1970's

This old ad was found in Finnish-English lighting dictionary from 1971. are this kind of fixtures common somewhere in the world. I have never seen one myself. Ofcourse it has the great effect that heat generated in fixture would not warm room air. That would not be desired effect in Finland where even in summer is too cold.

But for cons I would gues that fixture would get very dusty real quick as the extract air would flow through the lamps and reflector.
