EOL protection triggered on new 840 color T5 lamp, near the stock ramp of Carmel hospital

EOL protection triggered on new 840 color T5 lamp, near the stock ramp of Carmel hospital

I don't know why, but I've noticed that this fixture not working despite it have a good lamp. I turned off and back on the power, only to see this lamp turning on for a sec, than go out, despite the lamp is brand new.
What can cause this.

I've yesterday restarted several times the ballast, and it stopped to shut down the lamp, and the lamp started out dimmer and took 3 min to reach full output.

Will check it in the next time I will be at the hospital.

Could be the new lamp is just hard to start, and the ballast has sensitive EOL protection.
I've had that happen with brand-new T5-HO lamps on certain ballasts of mine. If I put the lamp in a fixture with a less sensitive ballast, it fires up just fine, and once its been allowed to run for a few hours, it is fine going back to the original. Guess you just need to 'burn off' the newness.

Colored Fluorescent's such as F40T12 Red or  Green or Blue are awesome...

Update: The fixture once again seen off, so I think that the problem with the ballast false EOL protection triggering.
