Coughtrie A124 bulkheads and 2D lanterns

Coughtrie A124 bulkheads and 2D lanterns

Click to view full size image

The old car park of the old Budgens store which is no longer there but instead a shiny new building has been built over for this firm.

Here we have a classic example of these Coughtri A124 bulkheads and of course the 2D lanterns that replaced them (why on earth did they get replaced considering they're incandescent fixtures??) I wonder whats the make of the 2D lanterns? Designplan or Fern Howard?

Also I thought I had no picture of the old car park but hey hey hey I have it and now its here on LG.

These 2D bulkheads look to be Newlec branded Thorn Leopard's. The Newlec rebranded bulkheads have the same base and gear tray but a different shaped diffuser (see here) to Thorns own Leopard bulkhead.

Hi Beta 5 Thanks for the info! Yes they somehow look different to Designplan but more of a THORN design!!!

Sadly this building is demolished since mid-late 2013

I will give LEDisease a taste of my shoe

No problem
I also think the Coughtrie bulkheads may be plastic covered BH.10's, as the A124 number appears in several of my Coughtrie bulkheads which are all different models.
