This is a very common shape for the American 1000W MV and 1000-1500W probe-start MH lamps. It is called BT56.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

Yes eve the European Iwasaki 1000w Mercury Lamps have this familiar BT56 Bulb, the only difference is they are made with Both a 145 volt 7.5 amp Arc Tube (H1000A) for 220/240 volt Single Phase Supplies, and 265 volt 4.0 amp Arc Tube (H1000B) for US Ballasts and for operating on 380/415 volt 3 Phase Supplies.

I have the H1000A version, which is the 145 volt 7.5 amps version of your Lamp see HERE.

I was wondering what the "B" was for ! Would I assume that the 700w is the same way ? It also has a "B" at the end of model #

Yes the A = Low Volt Lamp for European 230 volt Supplies (220/250 volts) and the B is for High Volt Lamps for European 380/415 volt supplies (400 Volts), this also includes the US 700 and 1000 watt Mercury, 1000 watt Metal Halide and 1000 watt High Pressure Sodium Lamps from the USA where they run on Auto Transformer Ballasts.

Yes the US 700 watt Mercury Lamp is different to a European 700 watt Mercury Lamp as the US Lamps has a 265 volt 2.8 amp Arc Tube where the European Mercury Lamp has a 140 volt 5.3 amp Arc tube. so both are NOT interchangeable, as they require the dedicated Ballast but the European 700w Mercury Lamp can be operated on both a 400 watt and 250 watt Mercury Ballasts in Parallel = 3.25 + 2.13 amps = 5.37 amps.
