1930s fluorescent fixture cleaned up and rewired

I'm thinking of powder coating it someday... But for now it is functional with new Sylvania sockets. The starter needed to be replaced. So I threw in a COP-40 resetable starter. I threw in a black light just for fun!

Would this be considered a turret fixture?

No turrets have plunger sockets on a fixed bracket at the ends of the fixture. This is just a single lamp industrial (and it's rare!) Awesome save!

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

This would pretty slick with a new paint job. Yeah single lamp industrials are rare, especially ones like this with a single lamp width reflector. I have a newer one like this too, it was used in my old high school's display case until it was removed and I ended up getting it. Has the original 1968 HPF rapid start ballast in it too.
