F15 Strip- Light

F15 Strip- Light

Click to view full size image

A former co-worker gave me this light and a roughly 4" shorter version.
Both use screw-in starters this is one is complete and working, the other one is missing the lamp and starter
The ballast is 100V and 50hz, I'd guess Japanese ? however it has a standard cord and works fine on 120v/60hz

Definitely Japanese.

Current: US 120v 60hz
Power provider: Southern California Edison (SCE)

-Date decoder of some US lamps 1960-present.
-I'll save any vintage lamp... dead or alive! Smiley

I wonder how much the rated current would vary? Higher frequencies are usually not a big problem, but not vice-versa.
A 60Hz ballast might not be that happy in 50Hz countries, even with the same voltage. Theoretically it runs hotter.

Can you get a close shot of the ballast itself?

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

日本分50Hz(東部)和60Hz(西部),中國是50Hz,所以我想這個燈架在中國適用,我也有60Hz的,除了發熱量高,其他都沒什麼問題,日本的鎮流器運行時電壓一定不要超過110伏特,否則會嚴重發熱!

我不会英文,所以我用中文,请你们用翻译网站翻译我打的字!

I can't in English, so I in Chinese, please use the translation website to translate my words!
