Walked in here today could help noticed the cwx were stairating badly with the aircondioning blasting. There was 3 f96t8 in one unit overdriven on the otherside that really stood out.good to see t12 but they should be brighter than these.

Yep every one was going like springs thru tubes

T12/ t17 there's a reason they made heavy magnetic ballasts

Boooiinnngggg...

I used to try to replicate striations by drinking an almost-empty cup of water with a straw. The straw looked like a striating tube.

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

Ha ! I used to do the same thing. Very short lived striations, though, because an adult would invariably declare that my glass was empty and then take it away...

Re-Lamped many a Wal-Mart and those F96HO's they had in the produce and meat sections. The strobing rings on some were intriguing because they actually looked like round Jacob's ladders running to the ends of the lamps.

Ugh CWX and energy saver. Those lamps should have never been allowed to be made lol. Crazy to still see 4-lamp 8ft strips in use! Even if they were converted to T8. A real treat to see they're still T12.

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

Yes and looks still magnetic since i see the random forward and backwards pulsing of the rings. The t8s are blackrnd and way overdriven seems they wont last.
