I had been looking online for a spare lamp to have on hand for mythat uses a rare R-38 reflector HPS lamp. They are still available at insane prices around $120+. Ever since I saw Colin's , I've been hoping I could find one for this very fixture as it seems more appropriate than an indoor-style reflector lamp. I was shocked when I came across this lamp and for under $50. I don't know what company made it, though it looks like a Philips arc tube. It's definitely much newer than Colin's lamp. It is absolutely beautiful when lit though does not have a dichroic coating.
