Is this the combination of starter and ballast light bulb?

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

Mostly fluorescent lamps, fluorescent fittings, mercury vapour lamps and coloured GLS lamps. I should take more photographs of my collection and post them on here really!

I think that would be nice. Everyone has his speciality on this forum I discover.
You are a big fan of Atlas. It has a very nice logo.
I have only a few lamps made by this brand.
You will not find them in our country so often.

The packet is almost identical to my "Coronation Souvenir" lamp. So I assume this packet style and artwork was used at the Angel Road plant in Edmonton in the mid 1950's. So I would deduce that is probably where this was from.

Do any of you think that the lamp is actually a ballast lamp for when the tubes are run off a D.C. supply?
