Sylvania HF100 fixtures

I recently picked up 7 of these HF100 fixtures. They are not preheat, but appear to be original rapid start. The one I opened has a vintage Jefferson ballast in it.

Nice lights. I'm sorry to say but I think these were originally preheat converted to rapid start.

Who ever did it did a pretty neat job but you can see snap in covers installed where the starter sockets would have been as compared to a unpunched factory knockout. You can see the covered starter socket hole vs the unpunched starter socket knockout on the left set of starter knockouts.

I wonder if who ever converted them to rapid start used a kit since the wiring looks pretty neat without any splices at the lampholders.

Nice haul! Even RS those are a great find!

The covers look like the kind you can buy to plug knockouts.
