Since the F u k ushima disaster I know what a spent spent fuel pool is. A bit scary thinking that this lamp is meant to work in such a place. Is it nos or was it used in a fuel spent pool?

Now, I get it

It is meant to shine under the pool filled with spent nuclear fuel rods.

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

Interesting find! Be a bit nervous changing these out considering the type of pool that is lighted by these

Long live the great old 20th century quality in electrical & lighting products!

Does this use actual nuclear fuel to light? Why would there be nuclear fuel inside a pool?

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

cause the the spent fuel need to be in water to kerp rods cool and also kerp radiatiion levels down. this lamp is mounted on a pole lowedred into water to inspect fuel rods
also when adding or removing spent feul rods.

Oh, now it makes sense. I thought this would be for a swimming pool that had nuclear rods at the bottom.
