With white wire, found at the Salvation Army recently. There is 2 strings with these covers and a bunch of extra covers possibly from a couple other strings and I’d say one can have a bad day if accidentally stepping on one of these covers barefooted and they are sharp! Forgot I had a loose one in one of my bike bags and it poked through an milk gallon jug and leaked a bit of milk in the bag a week ago. I was told by an an member on a Facebook group for Christmas lighting I’m on that these are by Yule-Glo.

Cool find, Dennis I remembered these plastic spikes from the 1980s.

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.
