GE 40 Watt NOS Bug Light

Here is a 40 watt GE bug light on the porch at my friend's house. I never knew that GE made any bug lights below 60 watts. This lamp has a thick yellow coating that produces a golden-orange glow and helps me spot my friend's house when I drive there at night. I cannot see the filament, however I would guess it's horizontal based on GE's other incandescent 40 watt lamps. This bug light has the classic bug icon in the etch.

Nice. I don't remember seeing anything other than 60w either.

Colored Fluorescent's such as F40T12 Red or  Green or Blue are awesome...
