Actually, 1983-1984. GE redesigned the top housing in 1985 when the next generation M-Series was rolled out.

Are you speaking of when they rounded the top front off? That happened in late 1987. I have a M-250A2 exactly like above (but FCO) and it's from 1987...

One of those lights is right in front of my house!

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.
