Slimline "halfpipers"

Rather beautiful and unique slimline install at out of the closet thrift store in Los Angeles. This shot shows the shape and structure of the fixtures well. Also interesting is the contrast between the magnetic t12 bulbs (top) and t8 converted to electric, nice to see that this install is being maintained as fluorescent and doesn't show any early signs of LEDesise, as they say ;)

Where is this in Los Angeles? I'd love to see this in person.

May all the great lighting technologies have their place in history.

If I'm ever back in LA, I'd love to see this in person as well. I remembered LA did have a lot of places, back
in 2014, with T12's still in use... though I never got a chance to see a store with halfpipers

wow pure amazing! The picture doesn't do justice they look like f48. I like the t12 magnetic they simply look better.

T12/ t17 there's a reason they made heavy magnetic ballasts

They do, I also agree. Did they simply give up converting to T8 or something? Or was this picture taken
during the conversion?
This reminds me of the Home Depot parking lot near me, where they converted some of the parking lot lights
to LED, but then, left some of the parking lots Metal Halide. haha
I really hope they keep those T12's up.
