This isn't realistic enough lol. It needs to have the retrofit poorly photoshopped over the incandescent bulbs.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

I vividly remember seeing the packaging for many LOA not-so-C-FLs of this era. The suggested uses would show the circling adapter, FUL12 adapter, etc obtrusively sticking out of things like bathroom vanity lights, recessed cans, and circline adapters in wall-mounted pull chain ceramic fixtures in closets!

Lol I don't understand who finds it appealing to put such a device in those locations... But I can't speak too badly about it because that PL lamp is still in the same exact spot to this day.
