it only 45 amp to run this beast of lamps
and I suspected most homes in the EU
have 60 amp service.

No LED gadgets, spins too slowly.  Gotta  love preheat and MV. let the lights keep my meter spinning.

No way. You would have to have some really high power equipment for such feed to make much sense.
Dont forget unlike the US or Canada, the most common house feed type is a 3 phase 3x230V, for a normal size home it is 3x25 or maximum 3x35A (that is when you have large power electric appliances like electric heating or so, plus that comes with dual peak/off peak tariff). So in sum in may be enough power for this beast, but it is distributed among all three phases. So nowhere to connect it.
And flats units (inside of the bigger appartment houses) use to have just 1x25A.

The thing is, quite large portion of the electricity cost is based just on the power capacity of your feed (i dependent of consumption). So having an overrated feed becomes quite expensive luxury.

No more selfballasted c***

Don't forget, these big huge lamps get HOT REALLY FAST! So its best not to turn it on.
