Cool! Looks like a Westinghouse Viscount with top mount.

Too bad it's being replaced. I like those beacon traffic signals too, rarely see those these days.

Try to save the lights and signal if you can.

I have 3 signals and I would save the Westinghouse if I got there in time. The beacon is still there and still incandescent. I don't know why but ithere are a bunch of incandecent lights with plastic lenses. I want to save the light in front of my house witch is the light by my name. I will save it if I have the space and if the workers let me. I know we have started the led conversion a few months ago but so far only 7 lamps replaced. One by me was a Cooper lighting with a suckling bulb and was the second To go. That light was one of 3 Cooper lights in my area. Yes I know I sad a lot.

Why can't we just use led retrofit instead of replacing the whole fixture.

If you look at the left light the visor as a chip because it is plastic

Most signals are made of polycarbonate which breaks, (I believe), due to LEDs they now put on.

Yep, it's a Westinghouse Viscount with the funky four part plastic lens.

Your mission - should you choose to except it - is to save unique and rare HID lighting before it's all scrapped.
