I saw the older looking GE bulb package at a local Restore, and looked inside expecting to find a new bulb, but instead found a Sylvania bulb. I bought it as the bulb was still vintage. Plus blue price tags were 50% off so it only cost me $1.50. I brought it home and tested it and it does work as shown in another post.
