Found this in a mogul-base three way lamp of all things, at the transfer station. A very inappropriate bulb for the application but an interesting bulb nonetheless. It even survived the trip back with me and works.

What an awesome find Andy! This 55 watt GE Miser is probably my all time favorite incandescent light bulb

Your bulb here was made in December 2001 in the St. Louis, MO General Electric plant.

Philips DuraMax and GE Miser forever!  Classic incandescents are the best incandescents!
