Widelite ballast. 120/240 input. The two orange wires says lamp. Wires labeled 2 and 4 were taped to together but not connected together. Wires labeled 1 common(white) and 3 were taped together but not connected.

looking at my 400w wide-lite ballast, for 120v,hook 1-3 together and hook to neutral, 2-4 together and hook to hot, for 240v,hook 2-3 together and use 1-4 for power. your ballast looks newer than mine (no cooling fins on top and ITT on label) i ASSUME the connections would be the same! hope this helps

It's at the paintball field right now. I will try that tomorrow. I will try both voltages but use 240v for the final installment. Thanks for the reply.

If you have a multimeter, make sure there isn't a short between the 240v and the lamp wires.

no problem, BTW if you're interested eBay search "wide-lite industrial aluminum floodlight" they have 2 and say they're 400w, however they look kinda big in the pic, I think they may be 1000w instead, the seller is north of Boston in Lynnfield Mass., price is $149.99 OBO pick-up only
