The one on the left came out of the 1960 daybright turret fixture. It will not hold a pg17. The reflector has raised ridges and will not allow a pg17 in there roughly about a 1/4 inch. The one on the right i ordered a whole set of 4. 2 plungers and 2 stationary. The plungers were in the right direction "horizontal" proper for a pg17 but these stationary ones were vertical which are useless if one side is diferent obviously. So with some drilling and a new machine screw i found it rotates easily. But the plunger even though it's fine I mess with a scrap one for fun
Let's just say it's in the trash. Lol

I had a similar problem with the F96t12ho lights at work where one side was in a different orientation than the other. Luckily they just twisted. No tools required.
