Harmony House 2×20 preheat shoplite lit up

These are the lamps that came with the fixture. The lamp etch shows the info. These seem to be older C50s as the electrodes are shorter than todays C50 electrodes. If I had to guess I would say these lamps are from the mid-90s because of the shorter electrodes.

Im pretty sure thats the 60HZ flicker messing with the camera.

Yes they do have a nice color. Unlike the newer chroma 50s I have, these are slightly greener in color

I have one of these and it's probably sacrilege to other members on this board, but I converted mine to F17T8. Why? I like the color rendering of the F17T8/841 tubes, and with a T8 electronic ballast, the 60Hz flicker is eliminated (which I can see).

Otherwise, this is a classic fun fixture to have.

@WestinghouseCeramalux: F17T8's should have fired up & worked just fine with the existing preheat ballasts (though if it was the 60hz you wanted gone you'd still have that issue )
