Old crystal chandelier

This old crystal chandelier was in nearly constant use. Fitted around 1980 with E10 lamp holders for a more candle lights atmosphere it had to be re-equipped with E14 lamp holders that allowed to use regular and cheaper candles.

If only I could. The building (with most but not all of the fixtures) went into new hands and will undergo massive refurbishment. MASSIVE!!! It's a money pit.

My mum am I tried to do it once as to save money on the expert cleaning. The two big chandeliers do not have a winch (as the one in the staircase does) and it got too dangerous. Now that's not our problem anymore.
