Even with this picture being foggy, this is still a satisfying sight like FOR REAL.
Four lamps, all T12. That is awesome. Even better if these still contain their original magnetic ballasts!

Interests:
1. Motorcycles, cars, Women, and Lighting (especially fluorescent)
2. Weightlifting/staying extremely athletic
3. Severe Thunderstorms of all kinds
4. Food and drinks. So gimme them bbq ribs
Lighting has ALWAYS been a passion of mine. I consider everyone on here to be a friend

What a blast from the past seeing this! I haven't seen such a great installation since the early 80s. There was an Eckerd's drugstore in my area that had this same set up. Thanks for posting this.

I'm surprised they all work, at least in this section. Well-maintained fluorescent installations are rare these days.

I like my lamps thick, my ballasts heavy, and my fixtures tough.

Eckerd’s.... there’s a name I haven’t heard in a long long time. Come to think of it ours had lighting like this in it.

These lights look awesome. Those lights that are out, were they turned off or were they burnt out? I've noticed that the light fixtures towards the right of the photo have all 4 tubes lit while there are 3 fixtures out right next to each other.

Rare sight to see a 4x 8ft slimline fixture. Especially one that hasn't been either retrofitted to T8 or delamped to 2 or 3 lamps.
