That fixture design is common here in gas stations, but with higher power MH.

Nice finds!

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

- Mostly a light collector, but I collect anything else that interests me

Nice! I remember these well they used to be vary common at gas station for the canopy lighting before those damn L*EDs started ruining the lighting industry. They were usually 250W or 400W Metal Halide.

These aren't legit 50w mercury vapor, are they? Did you mean metal halide? If it's the former this is an incredible find.

I really do envy you on that side of the water for those Restore places, we have nothing like them here. We have charity (thrift) shops, but they rarely if ever sell lighting, apart from normal table/floor/wall lamps, of course. Never any discharge lamps or fixtures, which were never sold retail here anyway

We had a restore but it closed likely due to financial issues

I fear a lot of places will not be reopening after the lockdown ends (if it ever does, it seems like it's going on forever around here )

Wow that's a hell of a find! I love these drop dish recessed square lights. The older Burger King drive thrus have them in MH, but usually with a flat prismatic glass lens.

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.
