This switch has standard backwire, which is not guaranteed to be safe

I know info for switches and receptacles from the 60's or before. I stopped collecting lights.

I have a brown double pole one of these and it sounds and feels like it has the proprietary mechanism (Also has backstab connections)! Does this one have the mechanism?

One on each side, on the tops of the sides? My double pole one says "Double pole, line side" on the left side of it.
