Cool light! I like the design.

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

Once upon a time it felt like every other house build in 70's had at least one of these or similar fixtures. IMO This one with wooden grill was best but I really hated the one with gold colored grill made from plastic.

Thanks.
There was also a bigger two-lamp version. Orno used that plastic grill, the name was Corona grill: http://www.muistaja.fi/imageinfo.php?from=searchext&id=16813&prms=q%3Dorno&limit%3D1420

Similar fixtures we had also in the 80s but for fluorescent lamps. They were made by Regent Lighting AG. There was a variety of different covers including the grill type made of wood but also metal white coated and also those made of metallized plastic crates.
