GE 40 Watt Ceiling Fan Bulb: Still Made in 2020

GE 40 Watt Ceiling Fan Bulb: Still Made in 2020

Click to view full size image

I'm really happy to see these specialty bulbs continue to be manufactured and available in 2020. This is my first bulb of 2020. These GE A15 ceiling fan bulbs have had hit or miss reliability for me, but they're great when they do work. This one looks like a proper soft white bulb with thicker silica than past Hungarian made bulbs.

That's cool, and I'm honestly really surprised they still make them somewhere other than China.

In Poland Philips produces conventional light sources expect HID.In Hungary Tunsgram restarted it's own production.

Nice! I got one of those that was made in December 2019 and it seems to be nice quality.

I like all kinds of lighting and electrical, especially HIDs and street lights!
-  neon sign collector
- vintage and rare lamp collector
Power company: SCE (Southern California Edison) 120V, 60HZ
Westinghouse Lifeguard will always be my favorite lamp
Gotta love vintage HIDs!
Stop LEDISEASE!

I’m pretty sure they are the same as GE appliance bulbs, but with different packaging.
